Dear Friends,

We often here people commenting on how life has changed, “It’s not like it used to be!” And it’s true – many things have changed over they years. Just recently, there was a news report on how the computer has changed from the first model many years ago. The first computer was so big it probably would not have fitted into our hall! Today there are computers small enough to hold in the palm of your hand, which can store more information than the first computer could.

Within our church we have made use of developments in technology to help us in our worship which might have taken time to adjust to, but it shows how the latest technology can be used to help present the Christian message. Another positive change is the new people that we have welcomed into our fellowship both during the week and on Sundays.

There might be moments in this changing world when feel a bit left behind, but as in a song used at Holiday Club reminds us about Jesus: “He’s the same yesterday, today and forever and His love lasts eternally”. The one thing that will never change is the message about God’s love for everyone because God never changes. He remains the same and His Word remains the same.

Life may bring many changes, some we like or dislike, we may do things differently than in the past but the message about God remains the same. We have a loving God who desires to welcome everyone into His family.
