Thanks to everyone who helped to raise money toward the Helping Hand Appeal this year. This included support from the Sunshine Club, Home League, Home League Singers and Edith Knightley with her Webb Ivory sales which raised a total of £458.15 towards the Salvation Armys’ Anglia Division effort. The Helping Hand Scheme for 2005 was to help children in Mozambique to attend school, have access to emergency healthcare and nutritional support, to set eight Kids Clubs for 800 children, provide support and friendship groups for children and engage community members in income-generating activities to care for orphans and vulnerable children.
