Dear Friends,

Welcome to the February edition of the church newsletter. It has been produced a week later than usual as we wanted to share with you news from the special weekend the church had at the beginning of February to celebrate the vision of 50 people worshipping regularly by the end of 2005 having been fulfilled and the launch of the new vision.

Since the vision of 50 people was launched in February 2004, God has done some wonderful things in our church, none more so than to see new people come and be part of this church and make the vision become a reality. In our celebration service last weekend there was a lovely moment, when all the people who had started attending since the vision of 50 was launched were invited to stand and there were eleven people who stood (including the babies)!

And there was another special moment of consecration when as a church we dedicated ourselves by signing up to the new vision that God has set before us for this year and for 2010! These are exciting times to see God working in a wonderful way! You can find details of the new vision in the centre pages of this newsletter.

The wonderful thing about vision is that it unites people around a common purpose and goal that they put their hope in to become a reality. We have seen that happen in our church with one vision already and look forward to the day when we celebrate this new vision having become a reality. And when vision is part of our relationship with God, it reminds us that God has a plan for each of our lives, one to give us a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). So we give God the glory, honour and praise for one vision fulfilled and we step out in faithful obedience for the plan of hope and a future that He has given this church with the new vision!
