Feast Week
This month sees the start of Feast Week from Friday 27th June to Sunday 6th July.  The Feast Committee have put on a variety of events for all ages so please do support some of the events.  Please buy a programme available from Both post offices, Janes Frames, Buckingham & Stanley and the Library. Price £1.50.  (On the back page of the newsletter are details of just some of the events taking place.)

Feast Week Flower Festival
The theme of this year’s Feast Week Flower Festival is ‘A Good Read’ and this will be held at Histon Parish Church from Friday 27th to Monday 30th June.  Captain Louise would be grateful if anyone is able to offer help in putting our church’s display together for the festival. 

Promotion to Glory:
The Envoy at Soham Salvation Army, Midge Rogers, was promoted to glory recently.  Midge was a great servant at Soham and will be sadly missed.  Please remember the church in your prayers and her family, Adrian and Jean Rogers. 

New Appointment:
Russell and Alison Day, of Waterbeach Salvation Army, have been
appointed as Territorial Envoys to Cottenham Salvation Army with effect from 31st July.

If you have access to the Internet, why not check out the website, www.salvoaudio.com.  On this site you can listen to messages recorded from famous historical Salvation Army figures such as General Evangeline Booth as well as modern day leaders.  You can also listen to a number of musical
recordings as well. 

Candidates Fund Collection
Thank you to everyone who also gave generously to the Candidates Fund Collection.  The total raised was £77.00 which will help provide financial
assistance where needed for people who are entering The Salvation Army’s Training College in London to become officers.
