Church Hall Decoration
The main hall and foyer at the church are to be redecorated in the near future. The exact date has yet to be finalized but it was originally anticipated the work will be done before the 31st March.  However, it is more likely that the work may take place during the Easter school holidays.  The redecoration should take about a week to be completed.  Further updates will be given

CAMEO Club:
CAMEO Club is currently taking a break from meeting on Monday nights until the warmer weather. 

Church/Corps Council Meeting:
The Church/Corps Council meeting scheduled for Thursday 29th January had to be postponed and will be rescheduled for later this month.  The Council meets to discuss general matters relating to the life of the church.  If you have any items that you would like to be included on the agenda, please speak to a Council member or Captains. 

Council of Churches Annual General Meeting
At the Annual General Meeting of the Council of Churches on Monday 26th, the following people were elected to committee positions:

 Chairperson: Revd Ian Rawley (New Life Church)
 Vice Chairperson: Revd Hilary Cheng (Histon Methodist Church)
 Secretary: Eileen Milner (St Andrew’s Histon Chuch)
 Treasurer: Christine Pooley (Histon Methodist Church)

Captain Paul Wood has stepped down after serving three years as Chairperson.

New Assistant Manager at the Charity Shop:
Fonz Chamberlain has recently stepped down as Assistant Manager of the
Charity Shop.  (You can read more of Fonz’ story in the newsletter).  As a church, we are grateful to all the work that Fonz has done in his role.  We are also pleased to announce that one of the shop volunteers, Wendy Fuller, is now the new
Assistant Manager.

Divisional Youth Councils:
The date of Youth Councils has had to be changed this year.  The new date is the 14th/15th November and not the 28th/29th March as originally planned.
