Dear Friends,

Wonderful! Fantastic! Amazing is how many people felt who entered the Prayer Room during the Prayer Week felt as they encountered the Presence of God in a special way. The Prayer Week was a wonderful experience and thank you to all from our church who took part.

One of the comments echoed by many people was the lovely atmosphere and that feeling of God being present in the room. It’s true too because when God’s people come to pray, wonderful things can happen.

Yet, the amazing thing about God is that we can all experience His Presence wherever we are be it in the Prayer Room, in our homes, at church or in the villages. No matter where we go, God is there and that is a great assurance to have.

In the Bible, there is the story of Jonah who tried to run away from God and ended up being swallowed by a big fish and staying inside it for three days! Yet, the thing that Jonah found was that He just could not get away from God no matter how far he ran – even inside a big fish! (see Jonah 1 in the Old Testament)

Life is full of highs and lows, times when we will feel on top of the mountain and times when we will feel at the bottom of a valley but we can thank God that no matter what life may bring, He is there for each one of us. God is there to rejoice and delight with us, comfort and sustain us because that is just how much God loves and cares for us. All we have to do is ask for Jesus to come into our hearts, and we can know the Presence of the Lord now and always. Now isn’t that wonderful, fantastic and amazing!
